Narcissism/ healing series

This set is about facing the struggles around not being able to fit into narcissistic relationships and families - including my childhood one; and the pain of recognizing my own patterns of repetitive subconscious, failed reenactment in my adulthood. The first few pieces were done with almost zero awareness of the manipulative tactics and mechanisms of narcissistic abuse - thus this sequence of paintings serves as an interesting naïve (in so many ways "blind") study that - as I learned later thoroughly - greatly overlaps with the relevant psychiatric literature.
