“Water Under the Bridge”

18”x12” mixed media on encaustic, 2022 December. Based on a photo I took in my “old hometown” at a sunrise in November 2015, while roaming the city jet-lagged.

Realistically, I have zero ambition or desire for nude smoking on the Margaret Bridge (even if being guarded by my fierce feline and canine bodyguards - it was freezing enough wearing a winter jacket). But, I also won’t judge anyone who has similar awkward ideas around vulnerability and self-acceptance.
